Jasper National Park

I grew up here in Alberta, Canada. As a kid we went on camping trips to Jasper and when I got older, got my driver's license, my friends and I would travel almost every weekend to Jasper National Park to go camping. It is such a magical, natural and beautiful place. I've been white water rafting in the river, gone horse back riding in the mountains, walked the town of Jasper many times and hiked through the forests on adventures. I've seen all types of wildlife in the park from big horn sheep, elk to bears and ravens.

Recently the town of Jasper and Jasper National Park was hit by a devastating wildfire. It broke my heart as I've cherished this wonderful place my whole life. Watching the videos and seeing the images of Jasper on fire was very hard. I'm sure even harder for the people that live there and the wildlife as well.

I know they are still fighting the wildfire right now and so many amazing people have come to help. I know they will rebuild and slowly the town and the park will regrow and regenerate new life. My thoughts go out to all those people and animals affected by the wildfires.

I look forward to re-visiting Jasper National Park and supporting the local businesses and people that call Jasper home. I thought I'd share a few images I've taken in Jasper National Park to share the beauty and wonder that exists there.
